A HANDS-ON PREVIEW OF COLLEGE LIFE FOR LATINO/A STUDENTS

JUNE 23 - JUNE 27, 2019

Starting college is rewarding, but the application process can be confusing. EKU has your back! Join us for the second annual Camino camp, a five-day event on EKU's Richmond campus just for Latino and Latina students, where you will learn everything you need to know to apply, succeed and graduate.

AT CAMINO CAMP, YOU WILL:

  • Learn procedures and processes, such as how to apply to EKU, receive financial aid, register for classes and more.

  • Learn about resources for Latinos students at EKU, such as the Latino Student Association, the Bobby Verdugo y Yoli Rios Bilingual Peer Mentor and Tutoring Center and more.

  • Explore EKU's many majors and career paths.

  • Take mock college classes to learn what life in the classroom is like.

  • Celebrate your heritage and cultural identity, and meet other students like you.

  • Experience life in an EKU residence hall.

  • Meet our current Latino students, professors and staff.

  • Tour EKU's beautiful Richmond campus.

  • Participate in the comunity events and recreational activities, such as soccer matches, challenge courses, and more!
